Puerta Azul is an absolutely beautiful, cozy hideaway with a private entrance off the Grand Portal, just steps from the Main Lodge living room. Puerta Azul is part of the original 1830s adobe hacienda. This oasis has original vigas and a hand-painted kiva fireplace. There is a queen bed with featherbed topper, brick floors, and private bath with a tiled shower. Brightly colored and warm, Puerta Azul is the most petit room at the Inn. There is a window that opens into the sunny Sun Room, and a Dutch door offering a view of the Inn's gardens with the Taos Mountain beyond.
